GABA
Struggling to get to sleep / stay in a deep sleep?
Struggling with panic attacks or feel like you're running on adrenaline and would love something calming but not sedating?
The truth is both healthy Progesterone levels and the co-factors that make both progesterone and GABA are the same (you'll find these co-factors in the Metagenics MetaRelax pwdr found in our shop) - and for many GABA has been hugely supportive.
You can take a half dose during the day and a full serve in the night - it's a real gem.
What is GABA?
Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is the most common inhibitory neurotransmitter in your central nervous system. GABA lessens the ability of a nerve cell to receive, create or send chemical messages to other nerve cells. GABA is known for producing a calming effect. It’s thought to play a major role in controlling anxiety, stress and fear. Decreased GABA levels are associated with several neurological and mental health conditions, as well as other medical conditions.
